About the Role

The Company is seeking a Senior Counsel for Product Development and Marketing. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality legal advice and work product to the product management, marketing, engineering, and sales teams. This role involves reviewing, drafting, and advising on a wide range of advertising and marketing materials, as well as advising on legal requirements throughout the product life cycle. The Senior Counsel will also be involved in preparing, reviewing, and negotiating complex agreements, and must be adept at identifying and analyzing business and commercial issues related to legal matters.

Applicants must have a J.D. degree from an accredited law school, be a current member of the California Bar in good standing, and have at least 5-8 years' of relevant practice experience, with a minimum of 4 years' as an in-house attorney. Experience in a technology company and a strong background in legal issues related to product development and marketing, including intellectual property and privacy matters, are highly desired. The role requires a candidate with strong proficiency in contract drafting, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with internal and external partners. The ideal candidate will have a customer service focus, be a collaborative team player, and have the ability to manage various legal matters with enthusiasm and a results-driven approach.
