Overview

Edgewater Federal Solutions seeks an experienced Senior Business Analyst to identify test cases for automation from existing test case documentation.

This work will be conducted onsite in Washington, DC.

Responsibilities

Identify test cases for automation from existing test case Create, enhance, debug, and execute test cases. Organize and monitor the defect management process. Creation of test designs, test processes, test cases and test data. Participate in walkthroughs of testing procedures. Prepare all reports related to software testing. Ensure that all test related work is carried out as per the defined standards and procedures. Ensure quality practices/processes are followed for code delivery. Thoroughly analyzes requirements to identify test cases and develop test scripts. Utilizes in-depth knowledge of tools and testing trends to recommend innovations that enhance and/or streamline the application delivery. Represent the team he is responsible for all interdepartmental meetings. Interaction with the customers as required. Able to supervise all testing activities carried out by the team and identify team members who require more training. Plan testing activities and prepare test effort estimations. Continuous test process improvement with the help of metrics. Qualifications At least five years of experience consulting or industry experience in business reengineering or strategic initiative. A Bachelor's degree in business, IT or related field; degree may be substituted with the equivalent years of professional experience. At least five years of experience in leading implementation of the ITIL best practices at the operational level, and business process reengineering experience for incident, problem, change, release, and configuration management. At least one year of experience with Microsoft 365. At least three years of leading requirements discovery and management. At least four years of lifecycle documentation. At least four years of experience with the following technology Active Directory, Okta, and Entra AD C, C++, perl, python, UNIX (RedHat Enterprise Linux, Ubuntu), Apache DB2, Oracle, Postgress, and SQL Server HTML, XML, XSLT Microsoft PowerBI, Azure PowerPlatform GitLab, GitHub, and AzureDevOps JAVA (with J2EE) Javascript Net framework, including VB.Net, ASP.Net, ADO.Net, VBA Erwin WebLogic Web Server Tuxedo Application Server Data Warehouse Amazon Web Services (S3, EC2, etc.) Cloud Platforms: Azure, AWS, Okta, ServiceNow, WorkDay, Coupa Terraform R/RStudio Microsoft PowerBI, Azure Power Platform, Power Automate
