The Senior Automotive Technician plays a crucial role in accurately diagnosing and repairing vehicles and adhering to the MAP guidelines, along with the repair standards set by the dealership and the manufacturer's specifications.
Compensation: $25.00/Hr. to $45.00/Hr. flag rate

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Diagnoses vehicles based on certifications and experience.
Efficiently performs tasks outlined in the Multi-point Inspection and/or Repair Order.
Handles complex and heavy-duty repairs.
Communicates technical diagnoses and required repairs to non-mechanical individuals, including the Store Manager and customers.
Recommends essential services to maintain vehicle functionality and documents all recommendations accurately.
Follows safety procedures and reports any concerns to the supervisor.
Willingness to work flexible schedules, including weekends as needed; additional tasks may be assigned.

Qualifications:
Prior experience as an automotive technician or mechanic is required.
ASE certifications are a plus.
Ability to proficiently use computerized diagnostic equipment.
Valid Driver's License.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Possess a State Inspector License or the ability to obtain one (if required) within 30 days of hire.
High School Diploma or equivalent; Technical School training is preferable.
Working Conditions and Physical Demands:
The Senior Automotive Technician will encounter moderate to loud noises, dust, exhaust fumes, lubricants, and other materials. Work temperatures may vary, including extreme conditions. Use of safety goggles or other Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) may be necessary.
The Senior Automotive Technician must meet the following physical requirements:
Ability to stand for up to eight hours and walk throughout the facility.
Frequent bending, stooping, kneeling, and crouching; full motion of arms and hands, with the ability to handle and feel objects regularly.
Regularly lift or move up to 10 pounds and frequently lift or move up to 70 pounds.
Effective communication skills with customers and team members.
Vision capabilities to distinguish color, depth, and refocus as needed.
