We are seeking a flexible, self-motivated, highly organized individual with expertise in Analytical Chemistry. This person will play an important role in supporting various analytical activities in process development, manufacturing and quality control to accelerate the production of sustainable BioAlternative products.

Responsibilities: Provide support across Quality Control, Manufacturing, and Process Development while assisting in data acquisition, analysis and hands-on sample processing. Ensure analytical facilities and equipment (GC-MS/FID, LC-QQQ/Q-TOF, HPLC) are functioning and well-maintained. Develop and optimize analytical methods for the characterization and quantification of various analytes including, but not limited to pharmaceutical intermediates, sweeteners, flavors and fragrances. Engage in cross-team collaborations and disseminate data across various functional teams. Lead establishment of new or updated standard operating procedures for a Food GMP regulated environment, including calibration and documentation Required Qualifications: Ph.D. in Analytical Chemistry, Biochemistry, or similar field. 4-7 years’ experience in operations, maintenance and hand-on use of analytical equipment (GC-MS/FID, LC-MS and HPLC), including data processing using ChemStation, OpenLabs & MassHunter Experience with quality standards (food ingredients, pharmaceuticals, consumer goods, etc.) is a plus Proven ability to lead, plan, coordinate, and complete analytical projects on difficult problems with cross-functional teams Strong written and verbal communication, including excellent presentation skills
Preferred qualifications: Experience in manufacturing, regulatory, or quality control environments Experience in R programming/Python for statistical data analysis
