Job Description
This role involves preparing financial reports in accordance with GAAP to accurately reflect the financial status of the company. You will maintain a strong understanding of GAAP, SEC regulations, and company policies, ensuring the accounting integrity of corporate financial data through the implementation of appropriate internal controls. Additionally, you will prepare schedules and journal entries and perform other job-related duties as assigned.
Responsibilities
- Prepares financial reports that are following GAAP, in a timely manner, to accurately reflect the financial status of the company
- Maintains a good understanding of, and applies, GAAP, SEC regulations, and relative company policies, practices and procedures
- Assures accounting integrity of corporate financial data through the implementation of appropriate internal controls
- Prepares schedules and journal entries
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's - Accounting / Finance / Business
- 5+ years in accounting, general ledger, reconciliation, month-end processes, journal entry, and reporting.
- Abilities in accounting, researching, interpreting and applying accounting rules and policies.
- Experience with SAP
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (vlookups, pivots, formulas, etc.)
Preferred Qualifications - NOT required
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA)
- Master's in Business Administration or Accounting / Finance
- SQL report writing, PowerBI and Access database experience helpful but not required

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $45.00/hr.
