As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a leading food and beverage location, you will play a key role in helping to deter security-related incidents by monitoring and patrolling assigned areas. Your responsibilities will include managing access points, verifying credentials, and providing a welcoming presence to all employees and visitors. You will conduct routine patrols to help maintain a secure environment, respond to incidents as needed, and deliver exceptional customer service through clear communication and professionalism. This position requires a valid driver's license and may involve driving responsibilities as part of your daily duties. Job Schedule:
DayTimeSat06:00 AM - 02:00 PMSun06:00 AM - 02:00 PM What You’ll Do:
Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
Responsibilities:
Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at the food and beverage location.
Monitor and control access to the premises, verifying credentials and authorizations for entry and exit to help to deter unauthorized access.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for the food and beverage environment.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter potential issues and identify any irregularities.
Document and report any security-related incidents, observations, or concerns according to Allied Universal and client protocols.
Collaborate with site personnel and law enforcement as needed to address security-related matters.
Maintain a visible presence to help to deter unwanted activity and provide reassurance to employees and visitors at the location.

Availability across various days and shifts
Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments
A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company
Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available
Minimum Requirements:
Access control and badge experience is preferred.
Loss prevention experience is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
