Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $18.50 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTime Monday 06:30 AM - 03:00 PM Friday 06:30 AM - 03:00 PM Saturday 06:30 AM - 03:00 PM Sunday 06:30 AM - 03:00 PM What You'll Do: Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise Responsibilities: Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential issues. Observe and report any suspicious behavior, hazards, or incidents to the appropriate personnel. Assist with access control and monitor entry and exit points as required by site procedures. Support loss prevention efforts by maintaining a visible presence and reporting any concerns related to theft or property damage. Collaborate with store management and Allied Universal team members to address security-related needs and concerns specific to the retail environment. What We're Looking For: Availability across various days and shifts Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available Minimum Requirements: A valid Guard Card is preferred. This position is primarily a driving post; prior driving experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
