Job Description
Security Officer II
Patrol and inspect HBLL and immediate vicinity for security risks during the hours of 0400 and 2400. Help enforce University security policies. Identify suspicious and criminal behavior and coordinate with BYU Police for resolution. Assist sworn officers upon request. Assist with security-related calls for service. Initiate coordination of emergency response. Monitor and run electronic and physical security systems. Cover shifts assigned.

Required: High School graduate or complete GED program Ability to make good split-second decisions Preferred: Previous security or law enforcement experience What we offer in return:

Pay Grade: 47
Typical Starting Pay: $18.50 to $23.25 an hour
