We are currently seeking a talented individual to become a Security Dispatcher. An individual could be successful if they possess the following.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The Security Dispatcher is responsible for coordinating all security communications and response activities across the property. This role serves as the central command point for security operations, ensuring timely and accurate communication between security officers, surveillance, emergency services, and other departments to maintain a safe, secure, and compliant environment. Operate multi-line radios, telephones, and communication systems efficiently and professionally Dispatch security officers to incidents, emergencies, and service calls throughout the property Maintain constant communication with Security, Surveillance, and key departments Prioritize calls based on urgency and risk Receive, log, and track all security-related incidents and requests for service Coordinate emergency response (medical, fire, law enforcement) as needed Provide real-time updates to Security leadership and Surveillance Monitor alarms, access control systems, and emergency notifications. Ensures compliance with operational procedures for activities such as guest service standards, fire prevention, emergency response, guarding and patrolling the physical property, orienting and monitoring of personnel inside and outside the facility, and responding to accidents and criminal acts inside and outside the facility. Accurately document all incidents, calls, and dispatch activity in logs and systems Maintain vendor logs, collect IDs, contact information ensuring all vendors are signed into property. Will have to notify other departments when vendors arrive when escort is needed Maintain detailed records for regulatory and internal compliance Assist with report follow-ups and data tracking Monitor CCTV systems (as applicable) and report suspicious activity Track officer locations and assignments to ensure coverage Support investigations by providing logs and communication records Respond professionally to internal and external inquiries Provide assistance to guests and team members when needed Maintain a calm and composed demeanor during high-pressure situations Ensures compliance with all regulatory controls Ensures the enforcement of state casino laws including (but not limited to) the identification and removal of underage persons from the casino floor. Respond to all security calls and alarms in a timely manner. Operate communication equipment properly, safely and according to company policy and procedure Knowledgeable of and consistently follow Oaklawn policies and procedures as well as appropriate local, state and federal regulations Communicate effectively with all levels of the Oaklawn team members and guests. Other duties and responsibilities as assigned QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

High school diploma or equivalent Prior experience in dispatch, security, law enforcement, or customer service preferred Strong communication and multitasking skills Ability to remain calm and make decisions under pressure Basic computer proficiency Casino or hospitality experience Knowledge of gaming regulations and compliance requirements Experience with radio systems, CAD systems, or incident management software Flexible to work all shifts including holidays, nights, weekends, and overtime as business needs dictate.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This job does not have supervisory responsibilities.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and interpret documents in English, such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to read and communicate verbally in English. Written communication skills in in English may also be required.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Employee must be able to qualify for licenses and permits required by federal, state and local regulations.
