What you'll do: Assist in ensuring office readiness across H&R Block's tax office network by performing essential operational and technical tasks, including basic technology setup and supply management.
Execute building maintenance tasks such as changing light bulbs, replacing ceiling tiles, cleaning HVAC vents, conducting minor electrical repairs, and addressing minor damages.
Efficiently deliver supplies and materials between tax office locations to support smooth operations.
Help with the annual setup and closing of seasonal tax offices, which includes arranging offices per the provided planogram, installing signage, ensuring cleanliness, and confirming adherence to brand standards.
Set up, shut down, and support ongoing PC hardware operations across various office locations with assistance from the District Operations Coordinator.
Maintain and track an inventory of district resources, including managing hot spare computer equipment.
Document hardware issues and resolutions within the ticketing system to ensure efficient troubleshooting.
Stay updated on technical knowledge related to the supported products and systems to provide effective assistance.
Participate in all necessary training relevant to the role and assist with additional duties as assigned.
What you'll bring to the team: High school diploma or equivalent.
Familiarity with Outlook and Microsoft Suite applications, including virtual tools.
Basic IT knowledge with the ability to set up, maintain, and troubleshoot computer hardware.
Reliable transportation to travel between office locations as required.
Ability to work independently and handle tasks efficiently.
Capability to lift 55 pounds.
Strong decision-making, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent organizational, prioritization, and project coordination abilities.
Effective oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills for interacting with associates at all levels.
Good time management and multi-tasking skills.
Willingness to follow instructions accurately.
