Qualifications: Qualifications: You will need to have a Master's Degree in Special Education with the LBS1 certification School setting experience is preferred. 2 reference checks Role Overview: As a Special Education Teacher, you will support students with diverse learning needs by creating inclusive and personalized educational plans that help them thrive both academically and emotionally. Job Details: Schedule:  This classroom is for Multi-needs students.  There will be an SLP, OT, PT, Paraprofessional and nurse in the room as additional support needed. Dates:   July 31st, 2025 - end of school year in May, 2026 Hours:  8:25am - 3:35pm; M-F with a 30 minute duty free lunch; They will have 3 days/month with an earlier start time for staff and team meetings. Setting:  Elementary school Caseload: 6-10 students in one classroom In-person only Key Responsibilities: Accommodate, modify and adapt lessons and curriculum as needed to meet individual student needs and IEP Goals Support in the facilitation of IEP meetings as well as development of the IEP Creates a classroom environment that is conducive to learning and appropriate to the developmental levels and interests of their students Set and communicate clear expectations for classroom behavior and school environment by applying positive reinforcement and/or behavior modification techniques as needed.
