Pay Rate : $50.00-$55.00 p/hr
Description:
We are seeking a compassionate and experienced School Psychologist to join a small, one-building elementary school district servicing students in grades Pre-K through 8th.
Responsibilities:
Conduct psychoeducational evaluations to determine eligibility for special education services
Develop and implement behavior intervention plans (BIPs) and support positive behavior strategies
Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to IEP development
Provide individual and group counseling to students as needed
Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to support student learning and emotional well-being
Assist in crisis intervention and response planning
Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with state and federal guidelines
Requirements:
Masters or Specialist degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
Valid Professional Educator License (PEL) with a School Psychologist endorsement in Illinois
Experience working with elementary-age students preferred
Strong knowledge of MTSS, RTI, and PBIS frameworks
Ability to work collaboratively as part of an interdisciplinary team
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
Must be able to work in-person full time at the Hillside, IL location
