Now Hiring: Full-Time Onsite School Psychologist
Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools (CMS) | 2025–2026 School Year

Are you a passionate and collaborative School Psychologist looking to make a meaningful impact in the lives of students? MIYO Health is partnering with Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools (CMS) to hire a full-time onsite School Psychologist for the upcoming school year.

What You’ll Do

As a School Psychologist serving CMS, you'll be an integral part of a school-based team, working directly with students, families, and staff to support academic, social, emotional, and behavioral growth. Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting comprehensive psychological evaluations to assess academic, emotional, and behavioral needs
  • Providing direct support and interventions to students, including counseling and crisis response
  • Collaborating with educators, families, and school teams to develop IEPs and behavior intervention plans
  • Participating in eligibility and problem-solving meetings
  • Supporting equity and inclusive practices across school communities
  • Consulting with staff and external providers to coordinate student services
  • Maintaining compliance with professional standards and district procedures

Requirements

What We’re Looking For
  • Current certification through the North Carolina Department of Public Instruction (NCDPI) - required
  • Master’s, Specialist, or Doctoral degree in School Psychology
  • Strong assessment skills, including experience with psychoeducational evaluations and report writing
  • Familiarity with MTSS, IEP teams, and special education eligibility processes
  • Ability to provide both direct and consultative services to students, families, and staff
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • At least 2 years of school-based experience preferred
  • Commitment to equity, inclusion, and student-first support
  • Full-time availability for the entire 2025–2026 school year in the Charlotte, NC area (onsite/in-person)
