School Nutrition Field Supervisor
QUALIFICATIONS :
High School Diploma required with five years management experience in school nutrition.
Qualified individual must hold an active certification in 'Serve Safe' or 'Serving It Safe' programs.
College graduate preferred with an emphasis in Nutrition, and Food Service Management.
Certification by the School Nutrition Association and SNS is also preferred.
Must have knowledge HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points) requirements for food sanitation and development of SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures).
Must be able to develop and implement "Action Plans' for identified deficiencies and maintain a professional working relationship with school nutrition staff and principals.
Ability to operate a variety of office and kitchen equipment.
Must be able to lift 50 pounds
Must have the ability to perform cooking operations and instruct at the same time.
Must have the ability of speaking and/or signaling people to convey or exchange administrative and financial information. Includes giving assignments and/or directions to subordinates, co-workers, or assistants.
Ability to work a flexible schedule.
Possesses strong verbal, written and technical skills.
Willingness to take direction.
Ability to read a variety of informational documentation, directions, instructions, and methods and procedures related to school nutrition.
Ability to write reports with proper format, punctuation, spelling and grammar, using all parts of speech.
Ability to utilize mathematical formulas; add and subtract totals; multiply and divide; determine percentages.
Must be knowledgeable of Microsoft Products.
Knowledge of the policies, procedures, and activities of the School System an School Nutrition laws and regulations as they pertain to the performance of duties relating to the position of School Nutrition Field Supervisor.
