*Experience Required: *
Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related area. (In lieu of degree, will consider equivalent combination of work experience, training and related education).
*Job Description: *
Work for a small systems integrator that stays on the leading edge in Control Technology and Data Integration. Specializing in Water and Wastewater Controls and Instrumentation. We are looking for a SCADA/PLC Programmer to design, develop, implement, and troubleshoot control systems that integrate or upgrade Water and Wastewater plant operations.
*Qualifications:*
* Hands-on experience with SCADA, PLC, and HMI programming in industrial automation, preferably in water/wastewater treatment. * Proficiency in programming PLCs (e.g., Allen Bradley, Siemens, Schneider) through Ladder Diagram or another IEC 61131-3 standard programming language. * Experience with automation networking protocols such as Modbus, Ethernet/IP or OPC. * Experience with SCADA software platforms such as GE iFix, Wonderware, Ignition or similar. * Understanding HMI development, including graphical user interfaces, alarm management, and real-time data trending. In programs such as Crimson, FactoryTalk, or similar. * Experience troubleshooting or installing industrial control hardware, including VFDs, sensors, actuators, and other field devices. * Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and P&IDs (Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams). * Ability to understand and apply network troubleshooting steps to diagnose issues between local and remote control systems. * Willingness to travel to job sites for installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting. * Understanding of telemetry systems utilizing UHF, VHF, ISM 900, and Cellular is a huge plus. * Able to lift 50 pounds. * Must have a valid unrestricted Driver License.
