*Location:* Plant City, FL 33563 *Pay:* $16.00 – $18.00 per hour _(Depending on Experience)_ *Job Type:* Full-Time *Shift:* 1st Shift | Monday – Friday | 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM _Also required to work the 1st and 3rd Saturday of each month. This is a position that requires mandatory overtime 50 hours per week. _
*Job Overview*
Workforce Management is hiring a *reliable, hard-working, and dynamic Saw Operator* to join our team in Plant City, FL. This is a hands-on role operating saw equipment in a fast-paced metal manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate has a solid understanding of different materials, accurate tape measuring skills, and a commitment to safety.
*Key Responsibilities*
* Operate saws and cutting equipment to cut materials to exact specifications * Safely use overhead cranes and poly straps to lift aluminum * Identify and work with different materials (steel, aluminum, stainless steel) * Read and interpret tape measures, calipers, angle finders, and engineering drawings * Provide and use basic hand tools (tape measure, hammer, Allen wrenches, screwdrivers) * Maintain a clean and secure work area; properly shut down equipment daily * Follow all safety procedures and support a respectful, team-driven environment
*Qualifications*
* Ability to read tape measures, calipers, and engineering drawings * Basic computer skills * Prior saw operation or metal manufacturing experience preferred * Self-motivated, dependable, and able to work independently and in a team
*Physical Requirements*
* Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs * Frequent standing, bending, and lifting throughout the shift
