Salary: $18 - $28/hr DOE Stepp's Auto Salvage is seeking mechanics for our San Antonio, FL, salvage yard. We are seeking candidates who possess a positive attitude, strong customer service skills, effective problem-solving abilities, and professional Automotive experience, as well as knowledge of relevant tools.

Essential Functions: The ideal candidate must be able to do the following: Remove parts and assemblies from vehicles with safety, quality, and productivity in mind always.

Inspect, clean, label, and tag parts to be sold, delivered, shipped, or placed into stock. Work with others in a team environment to achieve individual and team goals. Other duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements for the Position Include: Lifting, crawling, pulling, constant use of hands, bending and reaching, climbing, strength and stamina, ability to work in typical Florida weather conditions.

Qualifications: Valid driver's license and/or reliable means of transportation. Must have hands-on automotive or industry experience and tools. Basic understanding of environmental safety. Knowledge or the ability to learn how to use Car lifts, Heavy Forklifts, Car crushers, mini excavators, and skid steers. The ability to learn processes, procedures, and regulations through various methods. Examples are hands-on training and online courses. Must be able to pass a background check /drug test. Must have a Clean Driving Record.

Possess great Customer Service/Communication Skills.
