Job Title: Salesforce CPQ Architect Contract Duration: 12+ months (likely to be extended) Work Location: Remote Rate: $100/hr on W2 Job Summary: We are seeking a strategic and hands-on Salesforce CPQ Architect to lead the end-to-end design and implementation of our internal CPQ solution . This is a high-impact, cross-functional role that requires deep Salesforce CPQ expertise , strong business acumen , and the ability to architect technically sound and user-friendly systems that align with Sales , Finance , and Product Operations . Key Responsibilities: Own the architecture and hands-on end-to-end implementation of Salesforce CPQ from ground zero. Partner with Sales , Revenue Operations , Product , and Finance teams to gather requirements , define business processes , and translate them into scalable CPQ solutions . Design and implement : Product catalogs Pricing rules Discount schedules Quote templates Approval workflows Contract management processes

Define technical architecture , including data models , integrations , custom logic , and automation . Develop or oversee development using: Salesforce CPQ configuration Apex Lightning Declarative tools

Ensure clean documentation of system design , configuration decisions , and architecture diagrams . Collaborate with Salesforce Admins and Developers to support enhancements , maintenance , and troubleshooting . Define and enforce CPQ architecture best practices , security protocols , and performance optimization strategies. Lead or support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) , deployment planning , and change management . Stay updated with Salesforce CPQ releases and product innovations . Qualifications: 7+ years of hands-on Salesforce experience , with 3+ years in Salesforce CPQ implementation and architecture . Proven experience leading end-to-end CPQ implementations , ideally from the ground up. Strong understanding of: CPQ data models Pricing methods Quote-to-cash processes Approval workflows

Proficiency in Salesforce platform technologies : Apex Visualforce

Experience with Java is preferred.
