Supporting our Northwest region of 70 locations and 2000 employees you will gain valuable experience in multiple HR functions and the manufacturing and building industries. As the HR Administrator you will have the opportunity to create professional relationships with our existing strong team of Operational Leaders as you respond to inquiries, support processes, and travel occasionally as needed.
The Position. The HR Administrator role is primarily responsible for processing tasks in the HRIS (Dayforce), resolving I9 cases, responding to unemployment claims, responding to and supporting employees and managers via phone calls and emails.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Maintains knowledge of legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting human resources functions and ensures policies, procedures, and reporting are in compliance.
• Responds to inquiries regarding policies, procedures, and programs.
• Process hires, terminations and requisitions in HRIS.
• Approve and manage I9 processes.
• Process unemployment claims in Equifax.
• Communication via Outlook Office Suite and phone.
• Administers salary administration program to ensure compliance and equity within organization.
• Administers benefits programs such as life, health, dental and disability insurances, pension plans, vacation, sick leave, leave of absence, and employee assistance.
• Prepares employee separation notices and related documentation, and conducts exit interviews to determine reasons behind separations.
• Other duties may be assigned.
Minimum Requirements
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
• One-year certificate from college or technical school;
• Or three to six months related experience and/or training;
• Or equivalent combination of education and experience.
