Join to apply for the Sales Director role at Airbyte. Airbyte is seeking a Bay Area-based Sales Director to join our sales team, reporting directly to the Head of Sales. This person will join the founding management team and will have a significant impact on building and leading the field sales team, as well as defining our GTM strategy. Responsibilities include:
Leading, mentoring, and scaling a high-performing team of enterprise Account Executives. Fostering a collaborative and results-driven culture. Identifying and capitalizing on new market opportunities to drive expansion. Developing and executing a strategic plan to meet and exceed sales targets. Collaborating with Marketing, Customer Success, and Product teams to align strategies and ensure seamless execution. Managing sales forecasting, reporting, and pipeline management. Bringing creative solutions to complex challenges and iterating on the sales process. Inspiring a culture of hard work, collaboration, customer love, and continuous improvement. Encouraging ongoing learning about our technical products and customer base.
Requirements include:
4+ years of sales management experience in B2B SaaS / Cloud / Data platforms. Proven track record of driving revenue and exceeding quotas. Ability to solve complex business problems and adapt to fast-changing environments. Strong communication skills, especially with technical customers. Excellent organizational, presentation, and communication skills. Optimistic attitude and growth mindset. Alignment with company values.
