Join Our Team and Make a Difference! The pay for the Sales Associate position ranges from $13.00/hr to $21.00/hr, with a starting rate of $16.49/hr . Schedule: Weekend availability required! Key Responsibilities: Front End: Deliver an outstanding customer experience by building relationships with shoppers and utilizing the skills learned in training. Efficiently handle sales and cash functions using the POS system, ensuring accuracy in scanning and pricing. Conduct cart-to-cart transfers at checkout and check receipts for accuracy as customers exit. Assist in store opening and closing procedures based on your assignment. Sales Floor and Stocking: Focus on increasing sales while managing inventory shrinkage. Help customers locate products and inform them of available services. Assist with receiving shipments and maintaining organized, well-stocked shelves. Ensure all products are accurately labeled and replenish stock following FIFO guidelines. Utilize equipment such as reach trucks and pallet jacks as needed. Customer Courtesy: Maintain a clean and safe environment for customers and staff by following safety protocols. Keep the sales floor and restrooms tidy and well-maintained. Gather carts from the parking lot and ensure they are in working order. In addition to the above responsibilities, you may be assigned other duties by Store Management. Supervision: N/A Relationships: Internal: Interact with employees across various levels. External: Provide customer service and engage with service providers. Work Environment: Work takes place in a retail store open to the public, with exposure to outside weather conditions. Moderate noise level present in the work environment. Physical interaction with customers is required. Minimum Qualifications: 6-12 months of retail cashier and/or stocking experience. Preferred: One year of retail selling or customer service experience. Preferred Qualifications: Passion for delivering exceptional customer service. Ability to work flexibly, including holidays and weekends. Basic computer skills and prior cash handling experience. Education: High School Diploma or equivalent work experience required. Physical Qualifications: Stand continuously, walk frequently, and sit occasionally. Lifting and carrying weights up to 50 lbs frequently; occasionally lifting up to 100 lbs.
