The RN Rehab Nurse assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates nursing care for geriatric patients in a rehabilitation setting. The role requires adherence to established nursing standards and organizational policies, with a focus on long-term care and assisted living environments. Essential qualifications include a current RN license, IV and CPR/AED certifications, and strong communication and critical thinking skills.

• Education from an accredited school of nursing that results in becoming a Registered Nurse
• Long-term care/Rehab/Assisted Living experience preferred
• Current license in the state you will be working as a Registered Nurse
• IV Certification required or willing to obtain within six months of employment
• Current CPR/AED Certification required or willing to obtain within six months of employment
• Must be able to assess the basic nursing care needs of the geriatric resident
• Must possess excellent communication skills to interact with residents, visitors and staff
• Excellent time management and organizational skills are required
• Must possess critical thinking skills
