The Resident Services Coordinator assures all service-related issues of the residents are effectively addressed as directed by The Health Services Administrator. As well as, performs certain duties related to employee health and safety. Responsibilities: The RSC functions as the main point of contact for residents, families, and staff in regard to their care needs. The RSC must be an excellent communicator as they need to ensure all parties are appropriately informed.
This position works closely with the community Administrator and DHS to ensure the accuracy of care for our treasured residents.
The RSC serves as the primary contact for residents and their families. As the RSC, you are responsible for monitoring alert charting and communication logs, assuring Health Services employees are properly informed of changes in care, scheduling of appointments with physicians, and other health-related appointments for those we serve.
Other responsibilities include service planning, assistance with employee scheduling, and employee recruitment and development.
Preforms all other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Qualifications : Must have equivalent or similar experience
Must have experience as a Caregiver and Medication Technician
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, residents, employees, and the general public
Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, electronic, or schedule form
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret charting standards, physician orders, or administrative regulations
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals
AL & MC regulations knowledge Proficient PC skills including e-mail, record keeping, routine database activity, word processing, spreadsheet, graphics, etc.
Criminal History Check and Drug Screen required
