Among the key duties of this position are the following:
Assists with literature reviews, study preparation (e.g., programming laboratory tasks), participant recruitment, facilitating laboratory sessions (e.g., behavioral tasks; functional magnetic resonance imaging, fMRI, tasks), data cleaning, preprocessing of fMRI data, and statistical analyses.
Sends emails, processes purchase orders of supplies, manages volunteer research assistants.

Payroll Designation PeopleSoft Terms of Appointment Temporary Staff Appointment - Hourly Qualifications Minimum Education and Experience Bachelor’s degree in psychology, neuroscience, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
Certifications/Licenses Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Strong time management, problem solving, oral and written communication, interpersonal, and critical thinking skills.
Preferred Qualifications At least one year of experience as a research assistant in a lab in psychology, neuroscience, or a related field. Preference to applicants with experience assisting studies that included fMRI and/or ecological momentary assessment protocols.
Equipment Utilized Computers, audiovisual equipment, and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scanner.
Physical Demands and Work Environment Operating equipment above, traveling across campus to MRI scanning facility, as needed.
