This position sits in the office, Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm

RESPONSIBILITIES AND JOB ACTIVITIES:

1. Work with UK and EU regulatory agencies to obtain and maintain registrations and resolve questions/issues for both Bell Laboratories, Inc. (Bell) and, if applicable, Bell’s international entities. Keep abreast of regulatory requirements.

2. Prepare and submit the necessary documents for submission to regulatory agencies, consultancy agents, distributors, customers, or others as needed.

3. Cooperate and interact with other departments within Bell to maintain compliance with regulatory agencies, i.e., label language compliance, sales data, technical services.

4. Develop excellent working relationships and serve as a representative of the company with regulatory personnel, as well as customers and distributors.

5. Maintain registrations database as well as other electronic storage and tracking systems.

6. Ensure accuracy of label text and other regulatory documents.

7. Maintain confidentiality of all company's sensitive information.

8. Ability to travel internationally 2 or 3 times per year.


JOB SPECIFICATIONS

EDUCATION: Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry, Biological Sciences, Environmental Science and/or commensurate work experience.

EXPERIENCE: Must have a minimum of 3 – 5 years experience working with one or more of the following:
- European Chemical Agency (ECHA) in the EU
- Health and Safety Executive (HSE) within the United Kingdom
- Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) in the U.S.
- Food and Drug Administration (FDA) in the U.S.
- Experience working with European regulatory authorities on PT14 (biocides) or PT15 – PT19 registrations

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES: Position is very detail oriented, requiring excellent organizational skills and accuracy, as well as ability to manage multiple projects.

Ability to interpret complex legislation and regulatory guidance.

Familiarity with regulatory software/database systems desirable (e.g. – R4BP3, IUCLID)

Strong verbal and written communication skills, ability to work within deadlines, and ability to work independently are essential.
