Description Location: UCHealth UCHlth Anschutz Inpt Pavilion, US:CO:Aurora Department: Wound Care FTE: Full Time, 1.0, 80.00 hours per pay period (2 weeks) Shift: Days Pay: $38.91 - $60.31/hour. Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience Summary: As a crucial member of our healthcare team, you will provide direct patient care to individuals with wounds and ostomies, utilizing the nursing process to achieve optimal outcomes. Your practice will align with the organization’s values, mission, and standards of care. Responsibilities: Develop comprehensive patient care plans based on thorough assessments to enhance outcomes and make effective use of resources. Monitor, document, and communicate patient conditions efficiently, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams for coordinated care, transitions, and support systems. Assess and address the education needs of patients and their families, tailoring instructions to fit their unique circumstances. Delegate appropriate patient care tasks to support staff and potentially mentor new nurses and students. Employ critical thinking and independent judgement to navigate fast-paced environments effectively, taking decisive action as required. Requirements: Graduation from an accredited or state board of nursing approved Registered/Professional Nursing program. Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required. Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Preferred: Certification as a Wound Ostomy Continence Nurse (WOCN) by the Wound, Ostomy and Continence Nursing Certification Board (WOCNCB). Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience.
