Utilizes the nursing process to provide high‑quality patient care while maintaining professional accountability for all assigned patients. Evaluates the effectiveness of care delivered by other direct caregivers and coordinates patient care in collaboration with interdisciplinary departments. Position Details:
QualificationsEducation
Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing (associate degree, Diploma, or BSN).Licensure
Responsible for obtaining and maintaining a current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure as applicable.Must meet all state Board of Nursing requirements.Certifications
Required:
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association OR successful completion within 30 days of hire.May Be Required Based on Unit/Position:

Provides patient care using the nursing process.Maintains accountability for the care delivered to assigned and oversees care provided by other direct caregivers.Coordinates care with other departments to support optimal patient outcomes.Protects patient rights and maintains confidentiality.Demonstrates behavior consistent with the mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.Physical Requirements
