Apply today for the Registered Nurse - GI Lab Endoscopy position! Position Highlights: Schedule predictability with self/preferential scheduling posted four weeks in advance. Cultivating a culture of collaboration and respect within the surgical team. Continuous investment in advanced surgical equipment and patient safety measures. Participate actively in patient care discussions with leads and charge nurses. On-call duties required during non-business hours. Your Responsibilities: Evaluate and assess patients prior to surgical procedures. Educate patients and families about the surgical process. Prepare patients for surgery, including IV therapy and medication administration. Ensure compliance with safety protocols and participate in surgical site verification. Respond promptly to any patient emergencies that arise. Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care while applying evidence-based practices. Collaborate with a diverse team of healthcare professionals. Utilize your critical thinking and technical skills to provide safe nursing care. Continuously monitor and document patient conditions and care delivered. Communicate effectively regarding treatment plans and follow-up care with patients and families. Qualifications: Basic Cardiac Life Support certification required within 30 days of starting. Must be a Registered Nurse (RN). Associate Degree in Nursing is required.
