As a Registered Nurse in General Surgery, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality, patient-centered care. Your responsibilities include:
Conducting thorough assessments of patients during admission and throughout your shifts, promptly addressing any changes in their condition.
Executing medical procedures as directed by healthcare providers while ensuring precise and timely documentation.
Administering medications and monitoring patients for positive outcomes, taking action when unexpected reactions occur.
Delivering exceptional patient care by anticipating needs and responding to requests promptly.
Educating patients, families, and caregivers on medical conditions, treatment plans, medications, and potential side effects, ensuring clear communication and understanding.
To thrive in this role, you will need:
A current Registered Nurse (RN) license and a Bachelor's Degree.
Basic Cardiac Life Support certification obtained within 30 days of starting employment.
