Key Responsibilities As a Registered Nurse in the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU), you will collaborate with doctors and heart specialists to manage patients' blood pressure and prevent heart failure. You will also educate and support families and patients, acting as a crucial liaison between healthcare providers and those in their care. Your essential duties will include: Assessing patients' conditions and implementing care plans while observing and recording vital signs. Administering medications and operating cardiovascular equipment, including oxygenation machines and balloon pumps. Responding promptly to life-threatening situations. Please note the shift is 3x12 Nights.
