United Abrasives, a leading manufacturer in the abrasives industry, is offering an exciting opportunity for a dynamic individual to join our team as a Regional Sales Director. This position is based at our state-of-the-art manufacturing headquarters in Connecticut and provides a fantastic platform to make a direct impact on our growth and success. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales management and the ability to lead, mentor, and collaborate with a high-performing team.

Key Responsibilities:  Oversee and manage territories and regional managers reporting into you, ensuring each team aligns with the company’s sales goals and objectives. Report directly to the Director of Sales, providing insights, updates, and strategies to support the broader sales organization. Assist in planning, forecasting, and monitoring sales activities Oversee the development and execution of regional sales initiatives, ensuring alignment with overall company goals. Lead, mentor, and support sales teams to meet and exceed sales targets. Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and stakeholders. Travel approximately 50% + of the time to meet with clients, attend industry events, and mentor the sales team to drive sales.

Qualifications:  At least 8 years of proven experience in sales management with a track record of increasing responsibility, preferably within the industrial or manufacturing sectors. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide sales teams. Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Ability to analyze sales performance and make data-driven decisions. Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach. SalesForce experience a plus. Ability to travel up to 50+% of the time.
