We are seeking a dynamic, experienced, and driven Permanent Real Estate Attorney to join our thriving Legal team. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals who are passionate about real estate law, corporate transactions, and business law. The candidate will play a crucial role in handling complex real estate transactions, providing legal advice to our clients, and ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations. This is a senior associate position, requiring a minimum of 5+ years of experience and admission to the Maryland Bar.

Job Details

Responsibilities:

1. Draft, review, and negotiate a wide array of commercial real estate (CRE) agreements, including lease and purchase agreements, financing agreements, and development contracts. 2. Act as a legal advisor on all real estate-related matters, including sales, acquisitions, leasing, zoning laws, and title issues. 3. Provide legal advice on various corporate transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and business restructurings. 4. Handle complex business transactions, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local laws. 5. Represent lenders in various financial transactions, including loan origination, restructuring, and foreclosure. 6. Stay updated on changes in banking law and regulations and advise clients accordingly. 7. Collaborate with other attorneys and professionals to ensure comprehensive client service. 8. Prepare legal opinions, memos, and other documents as required. 9. Attend court proceedings, mediations, and negotiations as necessary.

Qualifications:

1. JD from an accredited law school. 2. Admission to the Maryland Bar. 3. 5+ years of experience in real estate law, corporate law, and business law. 4. Proven experience in handling commercial real estate transactions. 5. Extensive knowledge of corporate transactions and business transactions. 6. Experience in financial transactions and lender representation. 7. Familiarity with banking law. 8. Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills. 9. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. 10. Able to work independently and as part of a team. 11. Proficient in legal research and writing. 12. High level of professionalism and ethical standards.
