- Support Staff: Radiology nurses, techs, and Sacramento-based Radiology group for overflow/after-hours reads
- Reason for Coverage: Radiologist resignation
- Studies Interpreted Daily: 50
- Procedures Performed Daily: +4-6
- Daily Modalities:
- CT: 12-15
- X-ray: 15-20
- Ultrasound: 8-12
- Lumbar punctures, barium studies, various centesis exams with drains and CT/US biopsies preferredIR Procedures (Thoracentesis, Paracentesis, Nephrostomy Tubes, Intra-abdominal abscess drainage, Chest Tubes, Suprapubic Catheters); Biopsies (Thyroid, Lung, Other)
- Outpatient Coverage (Building 4):
- Must be present for contrast CTs, MRIs, and breast biopsiesHospital Patient Volume
- Admissions/Day: 12-15
- ED Volume: 85-90 patients/day
- Inpatient/Obs Census: 50 (includes ICU and OB)
- License: Active California license - Required
- Board Status: Board Certified or Truly Board Eligible - Required
- Residency: Completion Required
- Certifications:
- BLS - Required
- DEA - Required
- CA Fluoroscopy Permit - Required at time of submission
