Job Summary
This position has the direct responsibility to ensure that the product manufactured, packaged and shipped to our customers conforms to all the established Quality Requirements. The Quality Technician will be responsible for performing in-process, final and receiving inspections.
Essential Functions

Responsibility to ensure that the product manufactured, packaged and shipped to our customers conforms to all the established Quality requirements. Understands how and what to inspect based on an analysis and interpretation of drawings, specifications and other provided materials. Review manufacturing documentation (test reports, calibration reports, etc.) for completeness and accuracy Make recommendations to Quality Engineers based on their review of manufacturing documentation and observations from the production floor. Cleans and maintains test equipment and instruments and certifies that precision instruments meet standards. Perform inspections for incoming, final and in-process using appropriate inspection tools (hand tools, CMM, etc) Collects samples for testing, and records results Rejects products, materials, and equipment not meeting specifications and documents rejects/defects appropriately as a non-conformance Tests and measures finished products, components, or assemblies to verify adherence to functional specifications. Assists with ensuring all personnel comply with monitor and control measurement processes Supports the quality management system by providing input to the Quality Engineers and management team for continual improvement efforts. Any other duties deemed necessary by management. Position Qualifications

CMM Operation and programming PCDMIS or similar a plus Familiar with ISO-9001:2015 and/or AS9001. Experience using QMS software and ERP systems, Costpoint, Gage Trak and TIPQA or similar. Must have a high level of computer skills utilizing Microsoft applications, such as Excel, word, Power Point. Familiarity with GD&T. Machine Shop experience is a plus. Must have IPC-610 experience or certification. Internal Audit Experience, a plus Knowledge of the practical application of engineering science and technology. This includes applying principles, techniques, procedures, and equipment to the design and production of various goods and services. Education Must have High School Diploma (GED) or trade school graduate Higher level education a plus.
