This role will provide AS9100 quality surveillance and inspections for the Universal Stage Adapter program. The position is based at a subcontractor's composite manufacturing facility and will play a key role in ensuring production compliance. The candidate will be the primary quality representative on-site, supporting oversight of subcontracting and manufacturing activities. Day-to-day responsibilities will involve conducting inspections, flagging non-conformance issues, and ensuring adherence to production schedules. The role requires someone highly detail-oriented and capable of working independently while collaborating with remote engineering and quality teams through phone or TEAMS. Duties and Responsibilities Conduct AS9100 quality surveillance and inspections. Document and report non-conformance. Perform inspections and provide go/no-go decisions on production. Monitor schedules and daily activities. Flag issues with production and initiate corrective actions. Serve as the lone on-site quality representative while engaging remote support as needed. Required Experience/Skills Experience with AS9100 quality surveillance and inspections. Composite structures experience (manufacturing experience). BS and 4-8 years of prior relevant experience, or Masters with 2-6 years of prior relevant experience. Detail oriented, self-directed, and proactive. Ability to address issues independently. Nice-to-Haves Supplier management experience. Experience with human space flight projects. Education BS and 4-8 years of prior relevant experience, or Masters with 2-6 years of prior relevant experience.
