Job Purpose
The Psychiatric Team Lead will provide guidance and coaching to members of the psychiatric program. The Team Lead will guide the day-to-day operations of the Behavioral Health Clinics, in collaboration with the Director of Psychiatric Services and the Psychiatric Program Manager.
Qualifications High School diploma or equivalent. Psychiatric/Behavioral Health experience preferred. Healthcare technology experience preferred. Registered Nurse Licensure required. Core Job Duties Provide supervision to Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs). Oversee medication sample protocol at all clinic sites. Work with Psychiatric Program Manager to communicate provider schedule changes to psychiatric staff. Provide guidance to nursing/psychiatric staff to ensure time and resources are being utilized in the most efficient means possible. Oversee lab and nursing office cleanliness/organization at all clinic sites. Manage psychiatric staff call in's and make appropriate notifications. Ensure coverage of the day-to-day operations at clinic sites when necessary. Identify and address any front-line treatment/service issues (access, efficiency, effectiveness, experience). Communicate issues and concerns, provide feedback and recommendations to the Director of Psychiatric Services on a regular basis. Ensure program operates in a safe manner. Any safety issues identified will be addressed ASAP to the Director of Psychiatric Services. Process emails and respond timely during business hours. Adherence to all applicable evidence-based practice models. Orally communicate information effectively and accurately. Assure program operates within the constraints of the agency's certification (CARF, DMH) standards and strategic plan related to clinical care. Abide by program and agency policies and procedures. Other job duties and special projects as assigned.
