Description Location: UCHealth UCHlth Anschutz Inpt Pavilion, US:CO:Aurora Department: IP Behavioral Unit FTE: Full Time, 0.9, 72.00 hours per pay period (2 weeks) Shift: Days Pay: $37.06 - $57.44/hour. Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience As a Psychiatric Registered Nurse, you will: Initiate corrective action in response to adverse patient symptoms. Utilize nursing standards and protocols to address patient care situations. Provide psychiatric nursing care to a complex behavioral health patient population within a dynamic environment. Manage critical and highly stressful situations with decisiveness and composure. Minimum Requirements: Graduate of an accredited or state board of nursing approved Registered/Professional Nursing program (Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Nursing). State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN). Minimum of 6 months nursing (RN) experience. Complete Advanced CPI training within 30 days of hire and maintain yearly recertification to meet BHA rules and regulations. Hold a valid BLS certification through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer, with a card in-hand before the start date. BLS or CPR certification must remain valid through sixty days of hire.
