Are you looking for a dynamic, challenging, and rewarding career in the construction industry? We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Project Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the construction industry, specifically in Commercial, Industrial, Education, Multi Family and Medical/Healthcare sectors. This role offers an excellent opportunity to apply your skills and experience in managing complex construction projects from start to finish.
Responsibilities: As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control, and completion of specific projects ensuring consistency with company strategy, commitments, and goals. Key responsibilities include:
1. Leading the planning and implementation of project 2. Facilitating the definition of project scope, goals, and deliverables 3. Developing full scale project plans and managing project budget 4. Assembling and coordinating project staff 5. Managing project resource allocation and scheduling 6. Planning and scheduling project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools 7. Tracking project deliverables using appropriate tools 8. Providing direction and support to project team 9. Constantly monitoring and reporting on progress of the project to all stakeholders 10. Implementing and managing project changes and interventions to achieve project outputs 11. Ensuring quality assurance and risk management 12. Successfully completing project evaluations and assessment of results.
Qualifications: The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, with a minimum of five years of experience in the construction industry. Other qualifications include:
1. Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field. 2. Proven experience in managing Commercial, Industrial, Education, Multi Family and Medical/Healthcare construction projects. 3. Strong knowledge of construction processes, means and methods, and understanding of construction laws and regulations. 4. Proficient in project management software, MS Office Suite, and other relevant tools. 5. Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills. 6. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make sound decisions under pressure. 7. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines. 8. PMP or other project management certification is a plus.
