Your Role at Acousti
As a Project Manager, Ceilings, you will manage the full life cycle of a variety of projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and up to Acousti's high standards of quality. You will work closely with customers and internal teams, while leveraging your expertise in standard and specialty ceiling system installation to deliver exceptional results.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
Review project scope requirements to identify risks and clarify expectations with all stakeholders
Develop accurate and comprehensive project cost estimates for pricing decisions and profitability management
Ensure bid proposals are precise and align with profit goals
Accurately estimate and manage ceiling projects from pre-start to closeout
Complete material take-offs, place material orders, and manage project delivery and punch lists
Engage with corporate, institutional, government, medical, and hospitality clients
Conduct professional face-to-face customer interactions, from initial contact to business close
Build and maintain strong client relationships through consultative selling
Maximize sales opportunities and gain market share through proactive outreach
Develop a database of qualified leads through referrals, cold calling, networking, and more
What We're Looking for in You
To succeed in this role, you should have: 3+ years of commercial ceiling sales experience
Strong communication skills with customers, construction teams, and internal personnel
Project Management experience or a degree in Construction Management
Strong knowledge of ceiling products, installation, and field troubleshooting
Ability to evaluate and respond to customer RFPs, blueprints, specs, and contracts
Experience managing large ceiling projects and ensuring success in cost, schedule, and quality
Experience with Quick Bid/On-Screen Takeoff and Timberline software
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and other construction-related software tools
Preferred Qualifications
In addition to the above, we would prefer candidates with: Familiarity with construction industry practices, methods, materials, and specifications
Strong ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
Education Requirements
Required: Degree in Construction Management or related field, or equivalent experience
Preferred: Additional certifications or training in Project Management or Estimating
