Columbia Industries is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Production Scheduler to join our dynamic team. This hybrid role combines the strategic oversight of project management, the precision of scheduling. You will lead cross-functional initiatives, manage complex timelines, and drive the successful delivery of orders.

Requirements:

Responsibilities:

Scheduling & Coordination

  • Develop, maintain, and optimize project schedules using tools like MS Project, Smartsheet, or Primavera.
  • Monitor progress, identify scheduling conflicts or risks, and communicate updates to stakeholders.
  • Coordinate meetings, resource allocation, and milestone tracking to ensure timelines are met.

Project Management

  • Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of projects within scope, time, and budget.
  • Support team in reaching project objectives, deliverables, and KPIs
  • Manage project documentation, status reports, and stakeholder communication.
  • Identify and manage project risks and issues proactively.
  • Facilitate Planning, Job Management (Create, verification and Closing)
  • Act as the bridge between technical teams and business stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in project management and/or technical program management.
  • Strong proficiency in project scheduling tools and frameworks (e.g., Gantt charts, critical path analysis).
  • Experience managing software or technical projects in Agile, Scrum, or hybrid methodologies.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience working with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, tech-driven environment.
  • Familiarity with tools like SmartSheet, Production ERP Systems (Epicor)
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and navigate ambiguity.
