Located in Madison, WI, Frank Productions was established in 1964 and is one of the largest concert promotion companies in the United States. Frank Productions, a joint venture partner with Live Nation, offers full-service concert promotion involved in every facet of live entertainment events, including talent buying, production, ticketing, marketing, sponsorships, and special events. We produce and promote events in arenas, performing arts centers, theaters, clubs and other venues across the U.S. We operate offices and venues in Madison, WI, Nashville, TN, Columbia, MO, and Charleston, SC.
WHAT THIS PERSON WILL DO
The Production Manager is responsible for the on-stage, backstage, show settlement and other technical details of concerts
Oversees staffing and scheduling of part time promoter reps, technicians, stagehands, hospitality runners, and merch sellers
Coordination between tour/private production and venues. Advancing and obtaining presale technical information, including production needs, rider requirements, staging and capacity changes.
Interface with local contractors (vendors) and tours, clients renting the venues and venue production teams for all show requirements, including stagehands, runners, security, casual labor and rental equipment, with an emphasis on quality, reliability and cost.
Day of show management of concert/private events from load in to load out, with an emphasis on customer (artist/client) service, adherence to time schedules, sound restrictions and cost containment.
Show settlement, artist and vendor payments on events
Ensure positive and creative environment for management team
Assist in maintaining department manuals and training materials for all production positions
Assist in creating budgetary requirements and tracking the financial aspects of department
Facilitate proper interdepartmental communication and organization
Coordinate operational feedback with Talent Buyer
Assist with the maintenance of audio, lighting, backline and video systems advising on repairs when needed
All other duties as assigned

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND WORKING ENVIRONMENT
Performs duties while standing and walking, including ascending and descending stairs
Lifts up to 75 pounds
Crouches, kneels, twists, bends, and reaches frequently
Occasionally works at heights above ground level
Utilizes hands and fingers to operate computers and office equipment
Regularly exposed to large crowds and high volumes of noise
Occasionally works in outdoor conditions
This position is expected to work forty (40) hours per week or more. This position is an at-will position, meaning that either party may terminate the employment relationship at any time without notice or cause.
