Key Responsibilities: Embrace our service philosophy by acknowledging, assisting, and appreciating our customers. Effectively promote our Corporate Brands and create trust among team members. Engage with customers to make them feel valued, addressing questions about our produce and store products. Stay knowledgeable about produce items and provide helpful suggestions to customers. Assist in preparing beautiful produce platters and inform customers about special offers. Ensure all products are well-prepared, packaged, labeled, and inventoried properly. Regularly check the quality and freshness of produce, taking necessary actions for subpar items. Stock shelves, maintain inventory, and monitor product displays. Maintain the correct temperatures in coolers and keep accurate temperature logs. Support safety protocols by identifying and reporting unsafe conditions. Promptly notify management of any equipment issues or safety risks. Provide a positive and proactive attitude at all times, staying informed about current promotional ads. Qualifications: Ability to thrive in high-pressure situations and communicate effectively. Basic math skills (counting, addition, and subtraction). Must obtain a current food handler’s permit upon employment. Desired Experience: Previous retail experience in a comparable role. Proficiency in a second language is a plus.
