In this role, you will be integral in coordinating and delivering top-quality, patient-centered respiratory care, performing diagnostic tests, and assisting with mechanical ventilation. Key Responsibilities: Conduct patient assessments, evaluate breath sounds, airway patency, and cuff pressure. Administer therapies such as oxygen delivery, aerosol medications, and chest physiotherapy. Assist with the placement of artificial airways and manage mechanical ventilation. Monitor patients for therapeutic responses and communicate with providers as needed. Support the transport of patients who rely on ventilators. React to emergency situations ensuring airway integrity during resuscitation. Qualifications: Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification required within 30 days of employment. Associate Degree in a relevant field. Certification as a Respiratory Therapist (CRT-State or NBRC-RRT). Basic Cardiac Life Support or CPR certification is required within 30 days of employment.
