Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytically driven Pricing Specialist to join our exciting team. This role plays a critical part in managing pricing strategies to ensure customer profitability, maintain competitive positioning, and safeguard margin integrity. The Pricing Specialist will lead cross-functional efforts in the analysis, execution, and governance of pricing policies, discount structures, and rebate programs across the organization.

Key Responsibilities
Conduct in-depth margin analysis by SKU, customer, and region to uncover trends, inefficiencies, or pricing misalignments; partner with Sales, Operations, Product Management, and Supply Chain teams to investigate root causes, develop corrective actions, and implement strategic pricing or cost adjustments that protect and enhance profitability
Review, validate, and approve standard and special pricing requests from the Sales team, ensuring pricing structures support customer value while aligning with financial and strategic objectives
Act as the gatekeeper for special pricing approvals and validations, maintaining oversight of all exceptions to standard pricing policies and ensuring governance protocols are followed
Monitor and analyze aftermarket parts pricing to ensure appropriate margin levels are maintained; make recommendations to adjust pricing where profitability is at risk
Lead the administration of the company-wide rebate program, including modeling, tracking, financial impact assessment, and coordination with internal stakeholders to ensure transparency and control
Develop robust pricing forecast models to support financial planning, budgeting, and long-term pricing strategies in collaboration with the FP&A team
Support continuous improvement of pricing tools, processes, and controls to enhance efficiency, transparency, and strategic decision-making
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, economics or a related field
4-6 years of pricing experience in a manufacturing environment, with a strong understanding of product costing and margin drivers
Experience working within an indirect sales model, including channel pricing and distributor relationships
Proficiency in ERP systems (JDE preferred), pricing and rebate management tools, and advanced Excel functions (pivot tables, lookups, financial modeling)
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to interpret complex data sets and translate insights into actionable recommendations
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to influence and collaborate across multiple departments and levels of the organization
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
