EMC Mechanical Services is looking for a Plumbing Superintendent to join our growing team. The Plumbing Superintendent oversees all aspects of plumbing installations, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and in accordance with local codes and project specifications.

What You'll Do:
- Manage and supervise plumbing crews on commercial construction sites.
- Coordinate scheduling, material delivery, and inspections.
- Ensure all work complies with building codes, safety regulations, and company standards.
- Collaborate with general contractors, project managers, and other trade Superintendents.
- Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to guide installations.
- Monitor job progress and provide daily/weekly updates to project managers.
- Train, mentor, and evaluate plumbing staff to ensure quality and efficiency.
- Maintain job site cleanliness, safety, and documentation.
- Participate in pre-construction planning and project closeout procedures.
Qualifications
What You'll Bring:
- Minimum of 5 years of commercial plumbing experience.
- Experience in a supervisory or superintendent role.
- Journeyman or Master Plumber license is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of commercial plumbing systems, codes, and practices.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and project plans.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Driving Requirements
- Must have a valid Virginia driver's license.
- Must have positive points on state driving record.
- Must be at least 21 years of age unless company approval is granted.
- Must not have had a DUI, DWI, or reckless driving conviction in the last five years.
- All driving records are run as part of our pre-employment process and reviewed at the discretion of the Safety Team.
- Physical Requirements
- Must be able to crawl, kneel, squat, and climb.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis, unassisted.
- Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
