Job Quick Facts: Specialty: Neuroendovascular Surgery Job Type: Locum Tenens Facility Location: Colorado Springs, CO Service Setting: Inpatient Reason For Coverage: Supplemental Coverage Period: Aug 4, 2025 - Ongoing Coverage Type: Call only Shifts needed to be filled: - Aug 4-8, 15-21 - Oct-Dec: open - Ongoing: 10-11 days per month Call Schedule: 24-hr call; 7a-7a - 10-11 days per month/Sporadic weekend stints Patient Volume: 0-5 Patient Demographics: Adults only; 50% Trauma Support Staff: - Dedicated CNS for the practice M-F day shift; General Neurosurg APPs are available at night for general questions from staff. - New consults will be dealt by a call neuroendovascular surg. Required Procedures/Skills: - Thrombectomies & Clippings (so they do not have to transfer the patients) - Comfortable w/ open endovascular procedures, but most are done in the interventional/cath lab. - Comfortable w/ heavy surgical emphasis EMR: Epic Other Info: Not accepting a Neuro Interventional radiologist. Travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance covered Requirements: Active CO License or IMLC BC in Neurological Surgery BLS & ACLS (AHA) DEA COVID Vaccination proof Clean record/no malpractice OR w/ 1 malpractice case settled under $300k. Available to cover the open Aug dates. Neurosurgeon w/ endovascular capabilities (preferred)
