Yakima County (new contract 10/1) Swedish System (5 facilities, 1 cred app) Provider( 1 hospital) Radia is getting a new contract with Multicare Yakima Valley Hospital in Yakima Washington starting 10/1. Looking for 3-4 tele radiologists locums per day to assist with getting program up and running. Expected to be a 2-6 month need with an opportunity to get credentialed at other sites when they are better staffed. Radia will provide work stations. Looking for both day, swing, and night shifts (all are 8 hour shifts) We can license for this need as WA (must be IMLC Qualifed). Working on getting modality checklist completed with the client but can anticipate mixed modality reads with a high percentage of plain films. Will be reading for ER so will be doing Stat/Urgent reads as they come in. They are a level 3 hospital and stroke center. 60-65 RVU average for 8 hour shift. Radia does have a big presence on the West Coast and have several contracts in WA,OR,CA,AZ and ID. I have a list of facilities to stay away from when recruiting as well as a doc list (200 docs work for them currently) They understand some may get email marketing blast but would like us to try to stay away from their docs if possible. - Lists are found in Job Files JOB DESCRIPTION: Facility Type: Inpatient Specialty: Radiology (DX Tele-Radiology) Length of Assignment: 2-6 months (expected at this time) Call Requirements: none Charting/Dictation: Radia has a proprietary system that was developed internally. It is easy to be trained on and Radiologist enjoy working on it . They use a powerscribe 360-like voice recognition system that runs on a Dragon Platform They offer Medical Editors to improve Radiologist Efficiency. They use an autoload that sends cases to the provider based on an algorithm of where they are credentialed what they can read and turn around times. Must use Radia workstations (cannot use own) Required Skills & Procedures: Will be reading mostly inpatient and ER reads, Stats/Urgent from ER. They are a stroke center. Mixed modality but a high percentage of plain film. Client is working on modality checklist. They are a level 3 trauma center/stroke center They do have specialists who read high end neuro, msk, mr, nuclear, Vaccine Requirements: checking Other Information: There operations center is staffing by imaging assistants 24/7. There job is to pull together the imaging study, make calls for the Radiologist and be a second set of hands to expedite the interpretation process.
