JOB OVERVIEW Job Title: Physician Emergency Medicine Job Type: Locum Tenens Location: Horizon City, TX Service Setting: Inpatient Emergency Room Schedule: August 1, 2, 16, and 17, 2025 7:00 PM 7:00 AM Start Date: August 1, 2025 Reason for Coverage: Supplemental COMPENSATION & BENEFITS Rate: TBD Travel, Lodging, and Malpractice Insurance - Covered JOB REQUIREMENTS Accepted Specialties: Emergency Medicine (ABEM, FP, or IM) Licensure: Texas License and DEA required to start Certifications: ABEM or AOBEM; ACLS, ATLS, and PALS if not EM Boarded Experience: Must be board certified or board eligible within 7 years of residency completion DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Provide emergency medical care at the assigned facility Work a flexible schedule across day, evening, and night shifts Collaborate with APPs and other staff to provide timely and high-quality emergency services Maintain documentation within Epic EMR system Ensure compliance with hospital protocols and emergency medicine standards
