Job Details

PHYSICIAN ASSISTANT (PA) - PAIN MANAGEMENT

Schedule:

* Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm (NO CALL, NO WEEKENDS, NO HOLIDAYS)

Qualifications:

* Licensed Physician Assistant or NP in GA * National certification (AANP, ANCC, or NCCPA) * DEA license (or eligible) * Experience in pain management strongly preferred; will consider experience in spine, orthopedics, neurology, etc. * Excellent communication and patient counseling skills are a must * Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment * Willingness to train in interventional procedures if not already experienced

Key Responsibilities:

* Conduct comprehensive evaluations and follow-up assessments for patients with chronic and acute pain * Collaborate with supervising physicians to develop and implement treatment plans * Perform or assist in interventional procedures (under supervision as required) * Prescribe and manage pain medications in accordance with state and federal guidelines * Educate patients on treatment options, medication use, and self-management strategies * Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records using EMR systems * Participate in team meetings and ongoing quality improvement initiatives
