A part-time physical therapist is needed for a K-12 school district in Newtown, CT, to provide services throughout the full school year from August 25, 2025, to June 11, 2026. This contract position requires traveling across multiple schools within the district to support students from PreK through 4th grade. Key Responsibilities: Deliver physical therapy services to a caseload of 12 students ranging from PreK to 4th grade. Work itinerantly, traveling to various school locations within Newtown. On some days, provide services concentrated at a single school; on other days, manage schedules across multiple schools in alignment with PreK programming. Collaborate with school staff and families to support student progress and individual educational goals. Schedule: Part-time role covering 4 days per week. Three days involve 7 hours of work each. One day involves 6 hours of work. Qualifications: Licensed Physical Therapist. Experience working in educational settings with young students preferred. Ability to efficiently manage travel between multiple school locations. Strong communication and organizational skills. Flexibility to adapt to varied daily schedules and student needs.
